Authorship Policies and Illicit Practices
Authorship Policy
- Authors reporting original research must provide an accurate and thorough account of the work undertaken, together with an objective discussion of its significance. Supplementary data must be presented with precision. The manuscript should include sufficient detail and appropriate references to enable replication of the work by others, where applicable. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.
- Authors must ensure that their submissions are entirely original. In cases where the work and/or text of others is used, proper citation is required. The journal maintains a systematic plagiarism detection policy through specialized software and requires authors to formally attest to the originality and exclusivity of their submission. In instances where plagiarism is confirmed, authors will be barred from publishing in the journal.
- Authors must not submit manuscripts describing essentially the same research to more than one journal. Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously, and/or publishing the same article in more than one journal and/or in conference proceedings, constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.
- Authors are expected to acknowledge publications that have been significant in determining the nature of the reported work.
- All individuals who have made substantial contributions to the research should be listed as co-authors. All co-authors must have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript and must agree to its submission for publication.
- If the research involves the use of chemicals, procedures, or equipment with unusual hazards, such hazards must be clearly identified in the manuscript.
- Authors are required to declare any potential conflicts of interest and comply with the journal’s editorial policies and submission requirements.
- All authors must disclose in their manuscript any financial or other conflicts of interest that could be construed as influencing the results or interpretation of the work. All sources of financial support for the project must also be disclosed.
- During the submission process, authors must confirm their compliance with the journal’s submission requirements as a condition for proceeding with submission.
- Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of all data and information provided.
- Authors are obliged to promptly notify the editors of any errors identified in their published work. When necessary, authors should cooperate with the editors in issuing corrections or Errata.
Post-Publication Retraction Policy
- The editors are committed to issuing corrections, clarifications, retractions, or apologies when deemed necessary.
Policy on Unethical Publishing Practices
- The journal is committed to retracting or correcting articles where plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct are identified, and will require authors to cooperate fully in such processes.
