Como As Universidades Públicas Potiguares Estão Preparando Os Futuros Profissionais Da História Para Defender A Ciência Histórica E Ocupar O Futuro No Ciberespaço?

This article aspires to investigate the formations offered for the teaching degree programs in History at the public universities in Rio Grande do Norte with regard to contemporary demands related to Public History (Carvalho; Lucchesi, 2016) and Digital History (Lucchesi, 2014). To this end, we analyze the training provided in undergraduate History programs at the two UFRN campuses and the course pedagogical project of UERN, supported by the methodology of Content Analysis (Bardin, 2011). The analysis conducted allowed for an understanding of how (and if) the public higher education institutions in Rio Grande do Norte are preparing future historians for use and engagement in cyberspace (Lévy, 2010).
