This article seeks to discuss “witch hunt” representations mobilized by YouTube channels dedicated to history dissemination, debating problematics on history teaching, digital public history, and history from women's perspective. The platform, like other social spaces, is permeated with narrative disputes, reflected on the videos available on YouTube. Focused on the analysis of History videos by the channels: “História Para Contar” and “Leitura ObrigaHistória”, whose producers are historians, researchers on History Teaching. These narratives make up a framework of references used by primary school students, searching for History on YouTube, and permeate the historical culture, locating students in their relationship with the past.
