Is it Possible to Adopt Transformational Leadership in the Management of Higher Education Institutions?

The objective of the work was to prepare an academic and critical review derived from an international scientific article, published in the Journal of Higher Education Policy and Leadership Studies, indexed by the relevant Scopus and Web of Science databases. The original work was published in the English language. The scope of this journal covers the following areas related to Applied Social Sciences, not higher education: Administration; Research Management; Globalization and Internationalization; Future Studies; e New Technologies in Teaching and Learning. Why post reviews? Reviews of the best scientific and analytical instruments to produce, socialize and share instructive study materials for academic and professional environments, highlighting the main points of a work, saving resources for its readers (Calvosa, 2022; 2021). An academic and critical review aims to interpret a bibliographic or scientific publication with the objective of generating discussions, insights, or even the consumption decision of its own original work (Calvosa, 2020). By means of the articles outlined for the purposes of the challenges present in the digital transformation of Higher Education Institutions and strategies that can be easily applied to the challenges that they will encounter throughout their careers. Leadership training may allow the graduate or future organizational manager to use the knowledge described in the text for team management.
