The rise of the internet in the early 2000s transformed social interactions and created opportunities to discuss historical events. YouTube, founded in 2005, became an essential space for the dissemination of diverse content, allowing creators, often without academic training in history, to reach broad audiences. In this context, the Nostalgia Channel stands out for combining entertainment with historical content. This study analyzes a video from the channel about the military dictatorship to examine its impact on the diffusion and understanding of history from the perspective of digital public history. The research investigates how the channel presents historical narratives and their influence on public perception. The methodology included a quantitative analysis of the video data and a qualitative analysis of the approach to the subject.
