Abstract

As for the autistic people he worked with for many years, for Fernand Deligny, image is opposed to language because the former refuses what the latter carries: meaning, message, purpose, slogans. In his theory about the status of the image, Deligny gives this refusal an ethical and political dimension.          Deligny, image, language, autism.
