Resumo

Neste ensaio, argumentaremos contra a tese de que as extensões dos conceitos vagos são imprecisas. Também tentaremos mostrar que a admissão dessa tese nos arrasta para dificuldades de ordem epistemológica que são aparentemente intransponíveis para o semanticismo. Por fim, teceremos algumas breves observações sobre a relação entre o semanticismo e o fenômeno da metavaguidade.
