AS INFLUÊNCIAS DOS DIFERENTES CONTEXTOS PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO COGNITIVO

Abstract

This research aims to understand the influences that multicontexts have on the process of cognitive development of individuals. It has a qualitative approach and is configured as field research. Data collection occurred through informal interviews, moments of conversations and observations, considering that the subjects researched were children living in different multi-contexts. The concept of multi-contexts presented here refers to life contexts in the social, financial, cultural and family spheres. An individual's cognitive development is related to several aspects of their life, from neurobiological and hereditary issues to the environment in which they live. This happens due to plasticity, which can be understood as a broad term that involves the process of modification and adaptation of the nervous system. It was evident, through data analysis, that the multi-contexts present in an individual's life directly influence aspects of their cognitive development and even their global development. It was also seen that several multi-contextual factors can affect cognitive development, such as family, financial, social, cultural and emotional factors. It was noticed that subjects with more favorable contexts demonstrated more developed cognitive aspects compared to subjects from unfavorable contexts.
