The purpose of this article is to carry out an analysis of the poster genre used in manifestation in favor of education and contrary to changes and cuts in resources made by the current government, which occurred in the month of May 2019. In this sense, located in the field of Applied Linguistics, the aim of this work is to investigate how the speeches are articulated in the posters, taking into account Bakhtinian dialogism, and how they can contribute to critical literacy. In light of this, the work is based on the conception of Dialogism (BAKHTIN; 2000, 2016), the concept of Critical Literacies (KLEIMAN, 1995; ANDRADE, 2016; SANTOS, 2016) and Critical Education (FREIRE & SHOR, 2008). Methodologically, the corpus of the analysis was consistuted of posters used during manifestation in the city of Natal. In order to make explicit the dialogical relations involved in the production of these speeches, we also analyze some matters from the journalistic sphere that linked information that dialogue with the statements of the posters. As results, we could perceive that the dialogical relationships, constructed through the posters analyzed, were established through resumption and resignifications of the terms such as "fake news" and "myth". Such resignifications were only possible from a critical posture of the interlocutors who produced and exposed their posters in the context of the demonstration.
