A ARGUMENTAÇÃO DISCURSIVA COMO FERRAMENTA DE CONVENCIMENTO E PERSUASÃO NA REDE MUNDIAL DE COMPUTADORES

Abstract

It is known that the world wide web has been a tool of great importance with regard to communication and, consequently, social interaction between humans. Nowadays, because it is present in most Brazilian homes, the internet is a means used not only for communication between people who were previously distant, physically speaking, but also as a means of doing business. In this way, we verify that the city of São Luís enters a discursive order directed towards the capital and not only that, that its City Hall uses a whole discourse based on the cultural diversity found in the locality to attract tourists. The main objective of this study is to analyze, through the argumentative bias of the discourse, more specifically from the postulates of Perelman and Olbrechts-Tyteca (2005), some argumentative resources used by this instance of power in order to attract tourists-internet users from everywhere from Brazil and also from the world. Our research points out that the arguments most used by the São Luís City Hall are of the type based on the structure of the real, as they are the closest to reality, according to the taxonomy developed by the aforementioned theorists.
