The Dentistry and Psychology programs at the Regional University of Blumenau (FURB) developed the extension project “FURBMobile: Promoting Health and Citizenship in People with Mental Disorders”, aiming to promote mental and oral health and citizenship among users of CAPS II in Blumenau. The actions included discussion groups, artistic workshops, and dental care provided in a mobile unit equipped with a dental office, addressing self-care and basic oral health procedures. The activities promoted social inclusion, improved quality of life, and adherence to care. The experience contributed to expanding users’ access to health care and provided interprofessional learning for students, reinforcing the role of university extension in promoting comprehensive health.
