CAMINHOS, RESULTADOS E DESAFIOS DA EXTENSÃO CURRICULAR NA UNIVERSIDADE DE RIO VERDE

Abstract

The University of Rio Verde (UniRV) is consolidating itself as a growing institution with a strong commitment to university extension. Therefore, this work aims to report its experiences in the curricularization process, both undergraduate and graduate, highlighting progress, challenges, and prospects. Between 2018 and 2024, 553 extension initiatives were approved, involving 21,638 participants and impacting more than 1.2 million people. Of note is the "UniRV Connection" event, which mobilizes all programs in social impact initiatives. Extension initiatives have also expanded to graduate programs, with innovative projects such as "Mestres Extensionistas." Despite engagement challenges, the university has invested in training, mentoring, and guidance materials. Thus, UniRV strengthens a transformative extension culture, reaffirming its social role.
