Abstract

The outreach project “Access to Justice: Fundamentals for the Resocialization of Prisoners in the Blumenau Prison System” seeks to encourage faculty and students of the FURB Law program to produce and teach technical and legal works, such as court orders, which assist in the enforcement of sentences and provide undergraduate law students with an understanding of criminal execution practices. This outreach project also encourages technical visits to prison facilities and interviews with inmates' families. This initiative, based on the reality observed by students, encourages the production of scientific studies on the local prison system, enabling FURB Law students to responsibly investigate this important political and legal issue at the national and international level.
