The Parallel Mathematics project, linked to the Center for Studies in Mathematics Teaching (NEEM) at the Regional University of Blumenau (FURB), is an outreach initiative that promotes interaction between the university and the school community through workshops based on the use of games to foster the development of mathematics content and broaden its understanding. This article focuses on the application of games to students participating in a social project in the Blumenau region, analyzing their contributions to the understanding of mathematical concepts. The methodology adopted is qualitative research, incorporating elements of action research, enabling observation, analysis, and intervention in the context under study.
