This study aims to analyze the responses to a questionnaire administered at the end of a university extension workshop entitled "Media and Technology Education," aimed at high school students, to analyze participants' perceptions of the workshop. By addressing chemistry content with a focus on electrochemical cells, the workshop aimed to articulate scientific knowledge and promote critical analysis of digital media. Open- and closed-ended questionnaires were administered to a total of 64 students. The data revealed an acceptance rate of 83.47%, with the "Fact or Fake" activity standing out as engaging and promoting critical reflection. The results indicate that the workshop contributed to the students' civic and scientific development, although the limited time was identified as a limitation.
