EDUCAR PROGRAM: TRANSFORMING LIVES THROUGH EDUCATION AND UNIVERSITY OUTREACH

Abstract

The EDUCAR Program is an outreach initiative of the Federal University of São João del-Rei. Its mission is to inspire children to enjoy learning, making education a powerful tool for transformation, capable of opening pathways to personal growth and professional achievement. Currently, EDUCAR comprises five projects: Melhoria na Escola, Em Prática, Gincana do Conhecimento, DivulgaCAP, and Edulingo. Their main activities include, respectively: providing support with schoolwork, offering hands-on workshops across various areas of knowledge, organizing academic competitions and knowledge-based games, publicizing educational opportunities in the region, and offering foreign language classes to the children served by the program.
