This paper reports the experiences of a student of the Physics Degree course at the Federal Institute of Ceará, Sobral campus. This is a report of the last module of the program that used the PHET platform, in Physics classes taught in all grades of High School. The intervention had its performance evaluated based on the Vygotskian theory of interaction and on Paulo Freire's problem-solving education. The experience took place at the E.E.M. Doutor João Ribeiro Ramos school, known for its exposure to violence, lack of discipline, overcrowding of classes and even the aggressiveness of students. The result was different from what was expected, which leads us to reflect on how various methodologies can make a difference in the evaluation and learning process.
