ABSTRACT
The present study is an integral part of an intervention project for an elective curricular component of the PPGFPPI¹, which aims to present the experience of conducting a workshop on gender and sexuality held at IFBA² in Juazeiro/BA, with high school students. A didactic sequence was applied in 4 distinct stages according to the program content. These themes were explored through various participatory methodologies suitable for the target audience, allowing for the exchange of experiences, debates, and reflections on the topics addressed. Furthermore, it enabled the master's students to apply their knowledge through the connection between teaching and community. The workshop demonstrated the effectiveness of participatory methodologies in promoting reflective learning, highlighting the importance of education that values awareness and dialogue. The results reinforce the relevance of similar interventions in other contexts, contributing to a more inclusive and critical education.
