University extension connects universities and communities through activities. This study investigated ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices in them. Focused on the Dia S Project, a periodical community service event, the analysis was conducted in three municipalities. Using the metric by Ramos, Barros, and Veloso (2023), the research disclosed that Social Responsibility was fully met. However, Governance and Stakeholder Management practices, despite the results, need improvement. It concludes that although Social Responsibility has been achieved, the continuous implementation of ESG principles is crucial. By better integrating ESG practices, university extension can enrich students' education and contribute to the sustainable development of communities.
