Abstract

University extension is the most dynamic academic field, capable of renewing knowledge and contributing to the university's social commitment, allowing training based not only on the technical professional, but on the construction of citizenship. The present work aimed to report the experiences experienced during the project “Educational practices in health: Promoting the visibility of the nutritionist”. The activities were carried out through the organization and planning of the scholarship holder, demand requests and invitations from the place, as well as publications of social networks. Thus, participation in the project provided opportunities for learning beyond the academic sphere, but also human development, through interpersonal and intellectual skills and real interaction with the community, which contributed to ethical, moral and humanitarian development.
