Parkinson's Disease (PD) is a progressive, neurodegenerative disease that has a negative impact on several aspects, including gait, functionality and quality of life. One of the rehabilitation modalities is group physical therapy treatment, which enables the exchange of experiences between patients, greater adherence to the intervention, social interaction and improved self-esteem. The aim of this study is to report the experience of students from the AGruPar extension project (Group physical therapy assistance for individuals with PD) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). The project aims to offer a physiotherapeutic treatment associated with social interaction between individuals with the same disease, and provides students with a better management of PD and group clinical practice in face-to-face and remote environments.
