The study aims to present an experience report on the actions developed by the extension project of a public university, which has the purpose of disseminating and sharing knowledge about sex education for young people. We used actions produced by the project and published in the social network Instagram, in the form of posts, reels and IGTV, in the period from 06/03/2021 to 09/08/2021. The activities were gradually reaching new audiences, according to the intensification of the posts on the profile. The monitors realized that the feeding of virtual spaces presents itself as a facilitator of communication and welcoming in sexual education and that extensionist actions can address sensitive and essential themes to society, using active and accessible technologies to the young population.
