PROMOTION OF EVENT IN REMOTE FORMAT WITH SUPPORT FROM THE UNIVERSITY EXTENSION: EXPERIENCE REPORT OF THE HUMAN MILK DONATION WEEK

Abstract

The objective of this experience report is to describe the experience of some members of the extension project entitled Protection, promotion and support to breastfeeding: strengthening the child-friendly hospital initiative at Ana Bezerra University Hospital (HUAB), during the contribution period at week of human milk donation.The event took place in a remote and truly satisfactory way, providing unique moments of union and work among employees towards the greater objective of meeting the needs of assisted infants and expanding supplies. However, it reaffirms the importance of understanding the benefits associated with the donation of human milk and also encouraging the active participation of those involved in attracting donors.
