Abstract

This article is a descriptive study, of the experience report type, linked to the Education through Work for Health Program (PET-Saúde), involving teachers and students of physical education, nursing, medicine and nutrition courses at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), in partnership with professionals from the municipality's health network. The objective of this study is to report the experience of the construction and application of a Childcare Manual directed to the municipality of Viçosa, Minas Gerais. Despite the pandemic of COVID-19, the project managed to put its proposals into effect based on the interprofessional work carried out through virtual platforms, resulting in the publication of a manual with guidelines and systematized approaches in the area of ??child health.
