Abstract

This is an experience report, linked to the extension project “Online Course on Psychiatric Emergencies in the Context of Pandemia by Covid-19 in Brazil”, carried out by the students of the Academic League of Mental Health (LASM) of the Medical Course of a Federal University of the Midwest of Brazil, held in September 2020. The project was motivated due to the pandemic scenario experienced in 2020, which led to a period of social isolation and generated consequences for the mental health of the general population. Thus, this article aims to report the experience of developing the online course in the context of the pandemic, highlighting the challenges, opportunities, and learning provided. The results obtained were satisfactory, which corroborates the link between University and Community.
