AVALIAÇÃO DE INDICADORES DE QUALIDADE DE ÁREAS VERDES URBANAS: UMA FERRAMENTA AUXILIAR NA GESTÃO DE CIDADES.

Abstract

Urban green spaces contribute to quality of life, in the cities, because its play an important role of
environmental, landscape and psychosocial aspects. The present work aimed to carry out a qualitative evaluation of
three green spaces in Sobral city - CE. The data collection was made through a survey guided by a worksheet, that
evaluated the availability and quality of the equipaments, considering six parameters. The results indicated that
Arborization was the best parameter evaluated in the three areas. Leisure and Comfort were parameters that did not
obtain a good performance from adopted criteria.
