Abstract

This study aimed to report activities and experiences lived by graduates of the Biological Sciences course which were developed during the PIBID-Biology Subproject at the José Patrício Franco School Unit, in Uruçuí, Piauí. This descriptive experience-type research,was conducted from August 2018 to January 2019. The program aims to anticipate the teaching practical experience of graduate student since the early academic years, leading its practice at a public school of education, also contributing to the appreciation of the teaching profession. Participation in PIBID, more than provide a broader understanding of the students and professionals roles, also leads to the search for their professional identity as future teachers by allowing them to relate theory, learned in the Academy, with a real practice experience.
