The text examines migration as a largely overlooked consequence of wind energy production, highlighting the argument that this migration is part of the logic of a corporate energy transition, in which deterritorialisation reflects colonialism within the energy sector. To this end, fieldwork and semi-structured interviews were conducted with farmers in the Agreste and Sertão regions of Pernambuco (Brazil). The results indicate two migratory phenomena: the displaced and the relocated, as a result of the deterritorialisation of local populations affected by wind energy projects
