DRAMATURGIAS ALINHADAS COMO GESTO POÉTICO DE COSTURAR LEMBRANÇAS, REORGANIZAR O TEMPO E ALINHAVAR VIVÊNCIAS DE QUATRO RETALHOS CÊNICOS.

Abstract

This work aims to discuss memory as an articulating axis of contemporary performing arts practices, based on four distinct but convergent fields: ancestral indigenous dramaturgies, urban performative actions, creative processes of autobiographical fragments, and indigenous theater experiences. The writings originate from the productions presented at the 1st Research Conference in Performing Arts, promoted by the Department of Arts of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, held from June 16 to July 12, 2025. Here, memory is understood not as a static archive, but as a living, affective, spiritual, political, and territorial force. By weaving together the four axes of this work, we can visualize fabrics of memories that produce dramaturgies and that can move times and bodies, transform spaces, and reconfigure subjectivities. Memory that inscribes territories, summons marginalized presences, reopens historical wounds, and recreates ways of existing. Thus, it affirms itself as a dramaturgical force that not only preserves but reinvents the world.
