Decolonial Turn
collective constructions and perceptions from black feminisms and Latin American queer/cuir activism
Abstract
This study aims to promote a critical reflection on decolonial and intersectional perspectives on black feminist and queer/cuir movements in Latin America. The research in question is of a qualitative nature, bibliographic and fieldwork. The theoretical framework used authors such as Ballestrin (2013) and Quijano (1992), Lambert (2019), Preciado (2022), among others. The research technique used a semi-structured questionnaire with the participants of the mini-course, taught by the authors, entitled "The decolonial turn: intersectionality and feminist and queer/cuir movements in Latin America" and participant observation in the classroom. The main results indicate that the construction of decolonial practices involves changes in the ways of acting, feeling and thinking in the contemporary world.
